17th Annual Natural Areas Celebration Week

Dawn Bird Chorus 
Saturday, May 2, 5:30 am – 7 am
In this immersive experience, we’ll listen quietly, from before sunrise and as more species join in. We’ll identify birds by their songs.

Flora & Fauna at Prairie Overlook
Flora y fauna de Prairie Overlook
Saturday, May 2,  2 pm – 5 pm
Take part in guided and self-guided nature activities and crafts with your family!
Learn about the natural history of Prairie Overlook at William L. Finley National Wildlife Refuge and how it came to be! Explore some of the rarest habitat in the world and learn about the different types of birds, plants, and animals that call it home!
No Registration Needed. Adult Supervision Required.

Corvallis Spring Garden Festival
Sunday, May 3, 10 am – 4 pm
This annual local favorite has something for the whole family! Vendors will offer a wide variety of items for sale, including annuals, perennials, specialty plants, garden art, gifts, ceramics, seeds, edible goods, succulents, herbs and more. Enjoy live entertainment, with music performed by local musicians. This event is free, and no registration is required.
At Arts Center Plaza/Madison Avenue, between 7th & 8th Streets

Beavers, Blooms, Bees, and Birds at Bald Hill
Saturday, May 9, 10 am – 1 pm
Take a walk along Bald Hill trails and learn about beavers, wildflowers, birds, and pollinators at Beavers, Blooms, Bees and Birds on Saturday, May 9th, from 10 am – 1 pm. Drop in anytime from 10 am to 1 pm to visit stations along the trail and learn about beavers, observe beaver dams, explore a restored prairie in bloom and discover the bees and other pollinators that make it home, and look and listen for birds. Great for all ages!
Meeting Location: Along the trails at Bald Hill Natural Area and Bald Hill Farm – from the Oak Creek Drive parking lot, walk the loop in either direction. Additional parking at the fairgrounds. No registration required.
