Parking in Corvallis: A Community Conversation

All are welcome to join this important discussion!

Parking in Corvallis: A Community Conversation will take place Tuesday, October 22, 7–8:30 pm at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, 645 NW Monroe Ave.

Lisa Scherf, Corvallis Transportation Services Supervisor, will present information on the City’s current parking management programs. Her presentation will be followed by facilitated table discussions in an effort to identify problematic parking issues in all sectors of the City.

The conversation will include parking for a variety of needs—commuter and resident, employee and employer, downtown and citywide, and special needs. Results of table discussions and participant comments will be summarized by the Sustainability Coalition’s Land Use Action Team and shared with decision makers.

This conversation is the first of several programs focused on parking. A second meeting later in the year will feature experts who will present possible strategies to address problematic parking issues.
