2024 Edible Garden Tour

Thursday, August 29, 2024 • 5:00 – 8:00 pm
Featuring Northeast Corvallis Gardens

The 2024 Edible Garden Tour welcomes anyone who wants to see some amazing food-producing gardens! This self-guided tour includes six inspiring gardens in Northeast Corvallis that feature a variety of edibles. Tour locations are:

  • 3855 NE Hwy 20 (Corvallis Waldorf School)
  • 1026 NE Angelee Place
  • 2942 NE Glacier Way
  • 2825 NE Conser Street
  • 3550 NE Canterbury Circle
  • 1680 NE Holly Oak Place

Access the tour brochure and map here.

Access a Google map version of the tour here.

Participants are welcome to begin their tour at any of the above sites and to determine the order in which they visit the various gardens. Host gardeners will be on hand to talk to participants about their gardens and to answer questions. Tour maps and free copies of the 2024 Corvallis Garden Resource Guide will be available from docents at each of the sites.

Parking is limited in the neighborhoods, so alternative transportation or carpooling to the event is encouraged. The Corvallis Transit System is fareless, and the Route 4 bus takes you to the heart of the tour. Five of the gardens are within just a few blocks of each other, making the tour accessible to walkers and bikers. If you’re driving to the event, parking will be available at Corvallis Waldorf School and at Cheldelin Middle School, which is within walking distance to the other five sites.

The Corvallis Sustainability Coalition’s 2024 theme is The Arts: A Portal to Sustainability. In keeping with this theme, some of the gardens will feature a local community artist. Gardens will feature dry farming techniques, DIY and free garden material designs, very new gardens and well-established gardens, and innovative ideas to pack in food for humans and for pollinators.

Whether you’re a new or experienced gardener or a lover of art with a small interest in gardening, this tour is for YOU!

This is the eleventh year of the Edible Garden Tours, which are designed to appeal to both new and experienced gardeners.
