There’s good news for Oregon homeowners of all income levels who want to save on their home energy bills!
Two upcoming events will feature nonprofit experts and energy efficiency contractors to help attendees explore Oregon-based funding opportunities:
FIGHT RISING ENERGY COSTS: Oregon-Based Funding Opportunities Can Help! Tuesday, June 2 (7:00 – 8:30 pm) at Corvallis-Benton County Public Library – This program will include presentations to help upper, middle-, and lower-income homeowners explore their funding options. Hear from local experts about energy-saving and cost-saving incentives for your home, followed by Q & A and individualized conversations with the presenters.
HOME ENERGY FAIR
Thursday, June 4 (6:00 – 8:00 pm) at Arnold Park, at the corner of Harrison Ave. & Merrie Drive, near the intersection of Harrison & Circle Blvd. – Connect with local nonprofit and business exhibitors to receive personalized guidance on what you can do to make the shift from a costly fossil fuel-powered home to an energy efficient one. Learn about incentives for heat pumps for heating and cooling, heat pump water heaters, solar, and more. Cool off with friends and neighbors and enjoy free refreshments.
Although the federal government has cancelled prior incentives to help homeowners make their homes more energy efficient, Oregonians still have many great incentives available! Now is the time to take advantage of these opportunities while they last. The program on June 2nd and the Home Energy Fair on June 4th are designed to help connect Benton County residents to available funds.
