NOTE: Due to the city employee strike and the library’s closure on Monday, Oct. 19, the Quarterly Gathering has been re-scheduled. The new date is Monday, Nov. 9. Hopefully, the negotiations will be successful before that date.
A diverse mix of local sustainability efforts will be highlighted at the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition’s next Quarterly Gathering on Monday, November 9, from 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, 645 NW Monroe Avenue, Corvallis.
Join us for brief presentations by Owen Dell of Owen Dell & Associates (sustainable landscaping), Shawn Collins of Unity Shelter, Toni Hoyman and Jay Sexton of Willamette Grange #52, and Jeanette Hardison of the Sustainability Coalition’s Waste Prevention Action Team.
There will also be opportunities for networking and information sharing by attendees. Delicious refreshments will be provided by First Alternative Co-op. The public is invited.
This event is being generously sponsored by Northwest Realty Consultants and Deann Garcia Design.
We look forward to seeing you there!
