Learn how you can afford solar for your home or business on Sunday, Sept. 21!
Join in a celebration of the sun on Sunday, September 21, from 11 am to 3 pm at Central Park, 650 NW Monroe Avenue, Corvallis. The event is being organized by Third Act Corvallis, with participation by more than 30 partners.
Sun Day is a national day of action celebrating solar power and the movement to leave fossil fuels behind. Hundreds of events are planned across the country to acknowledge that solar energy is now the cheapest source of power on the planet and gives us a chance to actually do something about the climate crisis.
Sun Day in Corvallis will be a family event, full of live music, cooking demonstrations, daylight star gazing telescopes, a classroom for Solar Stories and art for kids, with educational signage and video displays throughout the park. Solar contractors and nonprofits will be on hand to help you learn how you can afford solar for your home or business.
