Join us Wednesday, June 29 at 12 noon for the moving and eye-opening story of SafePlace.
SafePlace is a unique local transitional housing program. To learn more about this successful program, we invite you to attend the June 29th program, sponsored by the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition’s Housing Action Team and Unity Shelter. You can view the June 29th webinar HERE.
SafePlace’s mission is to assist individuals, couples, and families in housing transition by providing a safe environment for temporary housing coupled with case management services and peer support.
SafePlace, which is operated by Unity Shelter, provides transitional housing in or near the parking lots of participating faith-based organizations. Currently, this transitional housing includes microshelters and Safe Camp. Microshelters are placed in the parking lots of several religious institutions around Corvallis (see Locations).
Sponsors of the June 29th event are Corvallis Sustainability Coalition Housing Action Team and Unity Shelter.
