The map below shows community gardens in the Corvallis area. It was created by a student in the Food in Culture and Social Justice Program at Oregon State University.
The FCSJ Program offers undergraduate and graduate students a unique opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge about the myriad ways food holds meaning and how food can be a tool of both injustice and justice. Through conducting community-based projects, students put their knowledge into practice for making a tangible impact while also developing valuable skills and expanding their networks.
