It Takes a Community to Raise a Village
Thursday, November 1, 7 pm
Dennis Hall at First Presbyterian Church
114 SW 8th St, Corvallis, Oregon
Dan Bryant of SquareOne Villages in Eugene will talk about what their organization is doing. SquareOne Villages is a non-profit organization whose mission is to create self-managed communities of cost-effective tiny homes for people with low-incomes in need of housing.
The public is invited to attend and encouraged to be part of the conversation. The event will also include displays by local organizations that are addressing the needs of homeless and at-risk individuals in our community.
“It’s our hope that this program will encourage community members to consider how a similar model could be applied in Corvallis,” explained Cassandra Robertson of the Housing Action Team. “We’re looking forward to solution-oriented conversations.”
