It’s searchable – and also includes repair!
The Corvallis-Area ReUse Directory has been an essential guide to reusing clean, functional items in Corvallis and Philomath since its debut more than a decade ago. It has now been expanded into an online interactive directory that also includes repair. People interested in finding locations where they can take reusable items, from appliances to vehicles, can now access that information by going HERE.
The ReUse Directory is a project of the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition’s Waste Prevention Action Team. It has gone through a number of updates since the first edition was launched in 2010, but this is the first time the information has been easily accessible and searchable online.
Whether in print or online, the goal of the directory remains the same: to keep perfectly reusable items out of Coffin Butte landfill – and to showcase the dozens of area establishments willing to accept those items.
