Lively presentations, networking, and delicious snacks were featured.
A diverse mix of local sustainability efforts were highlighted at the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition’s Quarterly Gathering on Wednesday, July 26, from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Corvallis-Benton County Public Library. The gathering featured brief presentations by three Coalition partners and one Coalition action team. You can watch the recording of the program HERE.
Presentations by Dan Orzech of Oregon Clean Power Co-op, Cookie Johnson of Mary’s River Gleaners, and Will Allender of Willamette Tides highlighted what their organizations are doing to help create a sustainable community. There was also a presentation by Julie Williams of the Coalition’s Energy Action Team about that team’s new Shift Together campaign.
The gathering included an opportunity for networking and information sharing by attendees, as well as delicious local refreshments from First Alternative Co-op.
