This virtual presentation will feature Dr. Marc Schlossberg, University of Oregon Professor of City and Regional Planning in the School of Planning, Public Policy and Management.

Dr. Schlossberg is also Co-Director of the Sustainable Cities Institute and the lead author of three books on street redesign:

  • Rethinking Streets
  • Rethinking Streets for Bikes
  • Rethinking Streets During COVID-19

In 2016, Dr. Schlossberg won the University of Oregon Sustainability Award. Take a minute to hear him in this brief YouTube video.

His presentation on May 18th will be a great opportunity to hear about the redesign of streets to make them safer for everyone and, at the same time, improve community livability.

This event is co-sponsored by the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition Transportation Action Team, Corvallis Right of Way (CROW), and Dixon Creek Neighborhood Association.
