The Sustainability Fair has something for everyone!

Join the fun on March 12 at the Alumni Center.

Local food, local talent, and local initiatives will be among the highlights of this year’s Sustainability Fair on Monday, March 12, from 5 to 7 pm at the CH2MHill Alumni Center on the OSU campus. The event is free and open to the public.

The Fair will feature more than 60 hands-on exhibits, each representing a partner organization or action team of the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition.  A fabulous spread of delicious local organic food will be provided by Valley Catering, and the entire event will be waste-free, with recycling and composting stations located throughout the facility. Fair attendees will delight to the toe-tapping sounds of the Nick Rivard/Dan Mahoney Jazz Guitar Duo, and the popular “Kidz Corner” will offer children a chance to take part in activities connecting them to the earth and to our community.

Fair attendees are encouraged to help make the Sustainability Fair a model event by walking, biking, carpooling, or taking the bus to the Alumni Center. Bike racks are on the north side of the building and on the northwest side of LaSells Stewart Center. For bus routes, see www.corvallistransit.com.

Primary event sponsors are the OSU Office of Sustainability, Block 15, Abundant Solar, Corvallis Chamber of Commerce, First Alternative Co-op, and Solar Ki.
