Ways to Give

Monthly Donations

Incremental automatic monthly deductions from your checking account or through your credit card mean ongoing and reliable support for our work. For the price of just one cup of coffee per week ($20/month), your gifts can add up to a generous $240/year! There is no minimum amount.

Choose from the drop-down list on our Online Donation Form to let us know where you’d like to direct your gifts, and select “Monthly” to set up your automatic recurring donation.

BottleDrop

Simply login to BottleDrop to direct funds from your Bottledrop account to us. You can also request a pre-labeled blue bag, then fill and drop off at a BottleDrop location. Either way, your funds will be directed to the Sustainability Coalition.

Workplace Giving

Does your employer offer Workplace Giving options? Ask them about matching your gift to the Sustainability Coalition! They may even offer “volunteer grants” as part of their corporate giving policy if you volunteer with us. It never hurts to ask! Let us know how we can help.

Endowment Fund

Did you know? Gifts to the Annette Mills Corvallis Sustainability Coalition Endowment Fund are invested in 100% fossil fuel-free Green Century Funds. This enables you to divest from financial interests that don’t fit your green values, and support local projects that do.

Choose “Endowment Fund” from our online options, or note it on your check or payment form.

Stock Donations

Avoid capital gains – just transfer ownership of your appreciated stock or other securities, and qualify for a tax deduction based on its full market value. We are ready to accept your publicly-traded gifts at any time – just let us know!

Individual Retirement Accounts

If you are at least 70½ years of age, you can make a tax-free contribution directly from your IRA each year and count it toward your required minimum distribution (RMD). Talk to your tax advisor to see if this would benefit you and contact us when you’re ready.

Other Planned Giving

Charitable gifts with a guaranteed later value ensure you leave a legacy. These could include making a bequest in your will, naming the Coalition in your life insurance policy, retained life estate; outright gifts of excess property, and charitable lead trusts. Talk to your financial planner and contact us when you’re ready.
