Action teams are the heart of our organization. The Coalition has 12 action teams, each working toward the vision of one of the 12 topic areas outlined in the Community Sustainability Action Framework. Each action team is facilitated by a volunteer leader who coordinates the team’s activities and reports to the Coalition Steering Committee.
Action teams are responsible for on-the-ground activities that include:
- Working on projects selected and designed by action team members
- Identifying and convening appropriate partners for collaborative actions
- Working with other teams to address interrelated goals and actions
- Submitting progress reports and data
