Solar Makes $ense! • Feb. 19

Explore the benefits of solar energy.

If you own a home or business or simply want to help reduce our community’s carbon emissions, here’s your chance to find out why solar makes sense!

Solar Makes $ense!
Solarize Your Home or Business

Wednesday, February 19, 7–8:30 pm

Corvallis-Benton County Public Library

Find out how making the transition to solar energy makes sense – both to protect our future and save money!

This special program will feature local solar installers James Reismiller of Abundant Solar and Peter Greenberg of Energy Wise Lighting. There will also be presentations by Julie Williams, Founder of Seeds for the Sol, and Dan Orzech, General Manager of the Oregon Clean Power Cooperative (OCPC).

This program is for you if you want to…

  • Explore how solar can help you save on your home energy bills
  • Learn how to take advantage of federal energy tax credits for your business
  • Help our community reduce its dependence on fossil fuels and accelerate the shift to renewable solar energy

There are new financing opportunities for low- and middle-income homeowners. Come and find out what they’re all about! There will be plenty of time for audience questions and discussion.

Solar Makes $ense! is sponsored by the Harvest Sunshine team of the Corvallis Sustainability Coalition. For more information, call 541-230-1237 or email info@sustainablecorvallis.org.
