Local Eats Month • Oct 18 – Nov 14

Support local food during Local Eats Month!

Support local food by learning about your producers on Facebook & Instagram, ordering meals from participating restaurants, and purchasing locally produced food items directly from producers!

RSVP to the Facebook Event and follow along on Instagram (@sustainablecorvallis) to meet local food producers and local restaurant owners passionate about local food!

The Food Action Team works to increase demand and consumption of local food by connecting restaurants, institutions, grocers, and customers to local food producers. The Team continues to work with a group of restaurant owners & stakeholders to increase diversity in participation in this program for farmers, restaurants, and eaters. For this reason, Local Eats Week 2020 is Local Eats Month 2020!

Please find below the full list of participating restaurants. For more information on restaurant sourcing, history, and to meet your local restaurant owners please RSVP to the Facebook Event and follow @sustainablecorvallis on Instagram!

Local Eats Month is an annual event that encourages local restaurants to source more ingredients from the Local 6 area. Local 6 refers to products grown, produced, or processed by farms or businesses owned and operated within the six counties touching and including Benton County (Benton, Lane, Lincoln, Linn, Marion, and Polk). Our goal is to increase the percentage of locally produced food consumed by the community in order to create a vibrant and secure local food system.

Organized by the Food Action Team’s Local 6 Connection.
